The Inner Critic

That voice is eager to kill an idea the moment it's born. Sound familiar?

Some call it the 'censor,' others 'resistance' or 'the critic.' The name changes, but the function is the same: it terminates nascent ideas before they're even tried. This voice cannot be silenced, but its power diminishes when it's called out.

Steven Pressfield, The War of Art (2002)

Action

Give your inner critic a name. Write down the two sentences it says most often. Next to each sentence, respond with 'But if we look at it this way...'.
